The Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant is the most major engineering company in the CIS countries, designing and manufacturing the industrial tractors and the engines for them as well as being fertile in technological and production resources. The high skilled engineers and workers are able to resolve the complex tasks of designing, testing and serial production of the new machinery. At present the plant puts on the market the machines applied in the oil, gas, metal mining, construction and other branches of industry. The Chelyabisnk Tractor Plant is the leading company in the markets of Russia and the CIS countries in the segments of the industrial caterpillars, bulldozers and pipe layers.

Over 15000 enterprises are the consumers of ChTZ products all over the world.

The Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant total area comes to 208 ha. Over 17000 employees are engaged in the ChTZ mainline production.

The Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant has the foundry, forging, press welding, machining, coating, thermal and galvanic production capacities.

At present in the mainline production of the enterprise over 13000 units of equipment are applied. This equipment ensures the turnaround of engineering machines, engines, spare parts and other types of products.

The equipment manufactured by all machine-tool plants of Russia and CIS countries is mounted at the factory as well as the equipment produced by the major and well-known world companies: "Messer", "Behringer", "EMAG", "Triumph", "Schenck", "Reinekker", "Naxon-Union", "Agaton", "Muller", "Nagel" (Germany); "Scoda" (Czechia); "Krause", "IGM" (Austria); "Starrag" (Switzerland); "Toyoda" (Japan); "Rambaudi" (Italy), as well as by the machine-tool plants of Poland, Romania, and Hungary, etc.

Furthermore, today over 130 enterprises with 3300 employees in number are engaged in the plant property complex. They put on the market the products in the value of about 1.5 milliards rubles per a year.

The plant is rewarded with the Order of Lenin (1971), the Order of the Labor Red Banner (1983), the Order of Kutuzov of the first grade (1945), the Order of the Red Star (1944). The Experimental Plant and the Design Department for Diesels are rewarded with the Order of Lenin (1944 and 1945 respectively). Twelve tractor-constructors were honored as the Heroes of Socialist Labor.

Since 2004, along with the serial products constantly updated, ChTZ has been supplying the new models of the bulldozer and loosening equipment:
B12 with weight 24.5 tons, 215 hp in capacity of drawbar category close to 15;
DET-320 with weight 45 tons, 350 hp in capacity of drawbar category 25.

ChTZ offers to its customers the following serial products:

• tractors Т10М (category 10), DET-250 (category 25), and engineering machines on their base (bulldozers, rippers, loaders and others);
• pipe layers of 12.5 and 20 tons load-carrying capacity;
• vibrorollers and bulldozers on the base of the wheel assembly units with weight 24 tons;
• diesel engines of capacity from 12 to 1000 hp, diesel-generator power sets of capacity 100 kW to be used for the independent energy saving; diesel-hydraulic stations as equipment applied in oil gathering plants;
• spare parts for the tractors manufactured by ChTZ;
• consumer goods, including: all-purpose wheel-track mini tractor "Uralets" (12 hp); municipal machine Т-02.03.2 and other items.
